Iron changes with the light. Pigments with metallic reflections run across the surface, creating flashes, shadows and variations in intensity depending on the viewing angle. The metal loses its uniform appearance and reveals a vibrant material, marked by nuances that emerge and disappear with movement.
The graphic combines veiled effects, marks and subtle oxidation, traces that suggest the natural wear of ferrous material. The tones Ivory, Blanco, Gris and Óxido move from the brightest reflections to darker, deeper shades, enhancing its mineral character.
Suite Iron structures the surface through a succession of oval shapes. Its low-relief base and raised forms create a pattern of alternating volumes with an almost sculptural quality. Light concentrates along the edges, softens across the recessed areas and reveals every change in level.
Two mosaics in the same material introduce new scales and rhythms to Iron. Malla Iron creates a pattern of elongated diamond-shaped pieces, with planes that fragment the reflections. Malla Listas Iron draws a serene, precise linear rhythm with slender strips, making each variation in tone and sheen more visible.
