What are the security measures adopted within the exhibition centre?

As per Decree-Law of 22 July 2021 of the Council of Ministry, the Green Pass* will be required to access fairs, conventions and congresses.

Moreover, whenever anyone enters the Exhibition Centre, the body temperature is measured by thermoscanner and access is permitted to all those who have a temperature below 37.5 degrees.

It is mandatory to wear a face mask.

The visitor can move freely throughout the fair and in the stands avoiding gatherings and maintaining a distance of at least one meter.

Throughout the whole Exhibition Centre you will find hand sanitising gel dispensers.

There will be control personnel who will make sure that people maintain social distancing in all areas.

There will be a constant medical assistance for the entire duration of the event

The cleaning, the sanitation and the garrison of all common areas and toilets will be guaranteed.

Visitors entering and leaving will use separate routes.

The bar and restaurant services will be implemented, especially outdoors, to ensure adequate and safe services.

Social distancing must be respected in all bars and restaurants; there are areas dedicated to food consumption; digital payment will be allowed.

Inside and outside the exhibition halls, information signs will indicate the routes to follow

Adequate ventilation is guaranteed with a continuous exchange of air without recirculation

Constant control of capacity even inside the halls to respect the distancing of at least one meter.

Conventions and conferences will include seats spaced apart and flow management.

* Green Pass refers to:

1)a certificate offering proof of vaccination. This certificate is valid for 9 months after completion of the vaccination cycle. For vaccines requiring two injections, the vaccination is valid starting from the 15th day after the administration of the first dose up until the date envisaged for completion of the vaccination cycle. 

The certification regarding the completion of the vaccine cycle must refer to one of the four vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA): Comirnaty by Pfizer-BioNtech, Moderna, Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca), Janssen (Johnson & Johnson).

2) a certificate offering proof of recovery from Covid-19. This certificate is valid for 6 months after date of recovery;

3) alternatively, a certificate offering proof of a negative nucleic acid (PCR) test or a rapid antigen (lateral flow) test. These certificates are valid for 48 hours after completing the test.

What is the minimum distance to keep in the stand?

The minimum distance is the same indicated for indoor spaces: at least 1 meter between one person and another.

What are the entrance hours?

How long is the ticket valid?

The entrance ticket is valid to access the Exhibition Center during all 5 days of the event; the credentials you entered to register will allow you to access Cersaie Digital, from 20 September to 8 October.

Can general public visit the fair?

Yes, general public can visit the fair on Thursday and Friday

Are children allowed?

For security reasons, the entry of minors is not allowed

Are pets allowed?

Dogs are allowed to enter only if they are on a leash and equipped with a muzzle or with a special pet carrier, except for dogs serving disabled people who can access without limitations. It is forbidden to bring animals of any other kind into the Exhibition Centre.

What are the safety rules inside the Bologna Airport “Guglielmo Marconi”?

It is mandatory to wear a face mask for all people – both passengers and workers – accessing the Terminal and moving within the common areas of the airport infrastructures;

Whenever anyone enters the terminal, their body temperature is measured with a thermoscanner: if the temperature is as high as 37.5° C or higher, they cannot enter the terminal and more checks will follow;

In the terminal, access is allowed only to passengers with travel documents, airport operators and government bodies. Passengers' companions cannot enter the terminal and must wait in dedicated areas outside the airport. Exceptions are allowed for persons / people accompanying passengers with reduced mobility and minors.

Throughout the whole terminal building you will find hand sanitising gel dispensers, and all are /everybody is kindly invited to frequently use them;

Physical distancing of at least 1 metre from each other is required during all operations within the airport, including those concerning baggage reclaim upon arrival; such obligation is marked with horizontal signage in the queuing areas and it is reminded with audio and visual messages on the information screens throughout the whole building;

At the check-in and boarding gates desks some plexiglass panels have been set up to separate passengers from staff while handing over travel documents. It is anyway recommended to check-in online or self check-in whenever possible, and to use digital tools for the handling and storing of one’s boarding pass;

To ensure the necessary distance is respected, part of the seats in the waiting areas have been marked with panels indicating they are not accessible;

The flows of departing and arriving passengers have been separated with differentiated routes;

Whenever possible, disembarkation and boarding of passengers will be performed on foot rather than by coach to allow for quicker airport procedures;

All areas in the Terminal building are intensively cleaned and disinfected several times a day with chlorine-based fluids. Furthermore, regular sanitising procedures are carried out on baggage trolleys and objects trays at the security checkpoints;

The air conditioning systems in the Terminal building and in all airport areas and offices, which also avail of highly efficient filters wherever a high number of people are likely to gather, are sanitised with specific products and guarantee a constant air intake from the outside, as well as an airflow from above heading downwards;

Molecular fragmentation sanitation systems were added to the already intense sanitising activities. Marconi Airport is the first airport in Italy to use this innovative technology.

What are the rules for traveling on trains?

Frequently sanitize your hands also by using the special dispensers available on board.

As required by current regulations, wear your mask correctly throughout your journey and remember to change it if you are travelling for more than 4 hours.

Always respect safety distance.

On Regional trains, you are invited to first occupy a seat and then the standing places on the bases of specific regional ordinances.

To get off the train please use the dedicated doors. Do not stand next to the doors.

What are the rules for traveling on public transport in Bologna?

Do not use public transport if you have symptoms of acute respiratory infections (fever, cough, cold).

It is mandatory to wear a face mask.

Only sit in permitted seats.

Please use the dedicated doors to get on and off the buses . In case a bus has only one door, allow the passengers to get off before getting on; respect the safety distance.

The capacity of the vehicles is displayed at the entrance and regulated by the terms of the law. Where possible, buy tickets electronically, online or via the ROGER app(available in Italian only)

What are the rules for traveling by taxi?

A maximum of two passengers per car is allowed. It is mandatory to wear a face mask. It is not possible to sit next to the driver.
