With Shade, to be previewed exclusively at Cersaie 2026 (Bologna, 21–25 September), Cotto d'Este reimagines it through a collection that brings together formal purity, refined tones and a remarkable new softness. The result reveals a warmer, brighter and more sophisticated side of concrete. Shade moves beyond the traditional monochrome look of concrete with a palette of eight refined shades — Shine, Shadow, Clair, Ècru, Dune, Coffee, Musk and Rubra — ranging from the brightest neutrals to softer earth-inspired tones. Designed to interact harmoniously with materials, furnishings and light, the range broadens the project’s expressive possibilities, offering an exceptionally versatile solution for residential, hospitality, retail and major projects. Available in a 9 mm thickness and a wide range of formats, Shade is complemented by the Line décor in the 60 × 120 cm format — a contemporary reworking of the fluted motif, offered in every colour of the collection. Like all Cotto d'Este surfaces, it also features Protect®, the exclusive permanent antibacterial technology that helps make interiors more hygienic and safer.
