cersaie’s third collective b2b exhibit will be inspired by classic greek and latin ports, places of trade and cultural exchange, points of transit and meeting venues where the sea forms the backdrop to socialisation and everyday life
the law
The source of inspiration for the event was the consideration that Italy, with its 8.000 km of coastline, has the potential to become the largest and more organized natural hub on the Mediterranean; This is the reason why the Italian Council of Ministers approved the national strategic plan for port facilities and logistics (psnpl): the aim is to improve the competitiveness of the port system and facilitate, through rationalization, an increase in the exchange of goods and movement of people
the concept
a 1,500 square metre space hosts this conceptual exhibit expressing our vision of an ideal port area: a lively, bustling space where one can sip an aperitif at sunset or dine out with the family, a place for shopping where retail businesses stand side by side with tourist facilities;
ports are no longer conceived as transit areas but as charming year-round venues and hubs for alternative housing development
