description: The Olivia collection consists of a complete range of sanitary fittings, available in floor-standing or wall-hung versions. Of all the products in the collection, one has quickly become something of an icon is the urinal, that “sexist” object that Marcel Duchamp has already revealed the devastating force of! In the case of Olivia, it is a design with an innovative form: coming up from the floor, a single sculptural form encompasses the bowl of the urinal. The result is so successful that it becomes a convincing argument for installing the urinal in domestic bathrooms. Added to the fact that the urinal is an eco-virtuous element in that it requires much less water to flush it than a WC does. This all fits in with the company’s environmental policy that states that Ceramica Globo intends to “make every organisational, operative and technological effort to prevent the pollution of water, air and the ground and raise awareness of this within its own organisation, as well as minimise consumption of energy, water and the production of waste, salvaging wherever possible”.
