The 42nd edition of Cersaie has come to a close
The International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings closed on Friday, 26 September.
It was five days dedicated to innovation, networking, and discovering high-quality products: Cersaie brought together the international leaders in design and planning. Companies from around the world showcased future trends, innovative solutions and high-performance materials in the fields of surfaces, bathroom furnishings, and finishes for architectural spaces.
Once again, Cersaie proved to be an unmissable event for architects, designers, contractors and other trade professionals, offering them the opportunity to discover new trends, forge new business relationships and keep up to date in a dynamic, international setting.

Signature flavors at Cersaie
Attending Cersaie offers a 360° experience. As well as discovering the latest industry news and trends and expanding your network of contacts, you can enjoy a culinary journey with 33 dining options. These include three excellent chefs: Gennaro Esposito, a two Michelin star chef and one of the most popular names in Mediterranean haute cuisine, Alberto Bettini, a guardian of Bolognese tradition; and Massimiliano Poggi, a refined interpreter of contemporary Emilian cuisine.
The culinary offering is completed by street food, lounge bars and gourmet restaurants, which are designed to meet the diverse needs of visitors and exhibitors.
"I Portici di Cersaie"
‘I Portici di Cersaie’ is a photographic journey marking the beginning of your experience at the fair. Located at the Costituzione entrance and designed by architect Dario Curatolo, it showcases the beauty of Cersaie products, from raw materials to finished articles. The end result is a simulation in which the products are presented through the senses under the architectural lights of a Bolognese portico.
‘I Portici di Cersaie’ then leads you to ‘The Square’, the nerve centre of the fair. Inspired by Bologna's ‘piazza’, it aims to encourage encounters and the exchange of ideas, as well as promoting conviviality.
The Square encompasses an arena hosting conferences, award ceremonies and lectures; Radio24, broadcasting live daily; the Corraini bookshop, offering a selection of books on art, design and architecture; and a visitors' lounge.
