description: Faraway is a metaphor for travel and for going beyond the ritual of bathing. It is made tangible in a collection, possibly the most complete and complex ever to be realised for the bathroom (from private to contract or spa situations) that has required four years of research, studies and prototyping. In short, the numbers are as follows: 10 types of different materials, 50 tap products, 2 bathtubs, 3 sinks, a concept spa, over 30 accessories. During the research that led up to the design, the bathroom was viewed as a place in which to experience the senses, a real or virtual voyage of self-discovery. The project has made the most of all available manufacturing energies through the brands Kos and Zucchetti.
